Racing wheel controller headed to Xbox 360
Finally, someone is bringing out a racing wheel! We don't know why this wasn't available on day one given the multitude of Xbox 360 racers that launched with the system (or are just around the corner), but Madcatz has announced their MC2 wheel. And we're happy.
"Wrap your hands around the rubber-grip wheel, extend the retractable leg supports, drop your foot onto the pedal and hang on."
- Features vibration feedback technology
- Double injected steering wheel with rubber coating is specially designed to provide optimal vibration feedback
- 10 High-performance action buttons provide superior control
- Retractable leg supports put you in the driver’s seat and keep you there
- Vertical vector design means when you throttle up, the pedals won’t take off

I don't mind so much but with xbox having the most racing games, and one of the best simulation games (forza).. why why why isn't there any true FORCE FEEDBACK driving wheels? Not rumble feedback, but actual force feedback. Does Logitech have an agreement with Sony Not to make any of their 'good' products for microsoft?

The wheel looks decent at first glance, I have made do on PC with an old ferrair FFB racing wheel for years so this should be ok.
However.. who's idea was it to put a Faux Rev counter / dash display sticker on the thing - this isn't a pre-school toy design people! ;)

The Driving Force Pro is USB for f*cks sakes, and is the only steering wheel worth using. Just reverse engineer the USB support for the damn wheel if Logitech and Sony are in bed together over it.

Stay away from the MadCatz wheels, they are cheap junk the orignal xbod never supported force feedback, who the hell knows why since microsoft was big into the force feedback stuff on the PC, but anyway thats why there has never been much attention payed to xbox wheels, hopefully the 360 will change that but this aint the one.

Doesn't appear to be force feedback, but I just found this offering from the European company JOYTECH...

It's supposed to be released January 27th and sell for around £53 (just over $90 at today's rates).
Take care,

No force feedback, no joy.
In fact... no Driving Force Pro, no joy at all...
Microsoft hits trouble.
