Only 300,000 units for Europeans?
We've been talking about the possibility of seeing a European shortage of Xbox 360s just as we saw here in the States. Well, that possibility is looking even more likely with the looming launch this Friday. Chris Lewis of Microsoft has alluded that 300,000 available units is somewhere near the magic number for Europeans. He believes there is a chance it could sell out just as quickly as it did in the US.Better get your camping gear ready.

Well, given the wonderful example of how well it goes in the US, I will gladly give my place in line and wait for the next batch of machines, quietly waiting Q2 2006.
Good luck to all fans who are about to rush in stores across Europe in a couple of days.

According to the postorder company I preordered from I should get my piece on the launch day (2nd) or perhaps the following monday (5th) (depends on the postal service). I'm glad that I preordered in august cause they can not promise that people that ordered in september will get theirs anytime soon.
