Xbox Live account management warning
Upon transferring your gamertag to a 360 you will be unable to access the Account Manager on the original Xbox. Xbox Live and all the games will still operate as before; however, due to the upgraded encryption system used to store personal account information like credit cards, you won't be able to access those features. The question is, if you load up your gamertag on a 360, chances are it's your 360, so there's no problem. This warning is really for everyone who's been unable to get their hands on one yet, and decide to load up their Live account on a friends. Even then, you'll be getting one soon, right?

Wow, thanks for that guys.
My friend is gonna bring his details over this friday when I get my 360 (European launch). He only preordered recently though, so obviously won't be able to edit his account details for a month or two - if he does use his GT of course.

Doh! Guess my friend is going to have to do the rest of his playing on Xbox Live at my place.

So if my credit card is set to expire in a few months and Ive already transfered my Live account to the 360 does that mean I can update my 360 live account but I'm SOL on updating my account details on my original Xbox. Because as anyone who has tried this already knows, Halo 2 is not worth playing on the 360 at this point until some sort of patch for the half-assed emulator is released.
