10 things CNET hate about the 360
A little controversially, CNet have written up ten things they hate about the Xbox 360, from its beige casing (trendy people call it off-white) and high-priced accessories to the lack of a built in wireless adapter. Of course, point 10 says it all -- its unavailability is certainly turning some people bitter, including the article's author -- but some of the 360's low points are deservedly highlighted.[via digg]

That article is a joke. Out of all things being #1, how is the color of the console in any way shape or form going to be the #1 reason on anyones list as a reason (NOT) to get a 360?
Wireless is an option, not a requirement. I honestly don't think I'll ever get wireless networking unless I find myself in a situation where it's absolutely needed.
Expensive accessories? MS has got to make up some lost money on the expensive 360s right?
It's not a computer... it's just an awesome game console.

I was a little surprised that the wireless adapter wasn't built it. Considering I can get one for my laptop for $50-70 US, I don't know why the official Xbox 360 one is $99.

Sense,
The wireless usb adapters you're referring to for a laptop (which can actually be found as low as 19.99 nowadays) are different from wireless bridges (as in the 360's case), which are usually much more expensive. It's bad taxonomy on their part, even though to the average consumer, the name is easier to understand.

Sense,
Laptop wireless adapters are usually not offereing triband capability in such a small package as that of the X360 wireless adapter. The smaller and more feature rich an electronic product is, the more is going to cost.
BTW: iCan bench press 425lbs 1x!
