360 cooling stand; but what about the PSU?
For a mere $19.99 you can purchase Pelican's Xbox 360 Fan Stand, which promises to "extend the life of the system's hardware by operating at cooler temperatures." The problem is, last we checked, it wasn't the 360 unit itself that has an overheating problem. I guess there nothing stopping you from putting your PSU on this stand, or just stick with the homemade version. On the other hand, it should also give your 360 "added stability when standing," which should help with the disc scratching problem, should a bump occur.

Based on the symptoms reported... graphical glitches and system freezes,it sounds like the system itself was overheating... not the Power Supply. Those are the same classic symptoms when a PC system overheats.
But in people's frenzy over anything 360-related, common sense was checked at the door.
I'd like to see a similar cradle for 360s that are horizontally oriented.

its just an idea but what if you put the power adapter on the stand? i know kinda pricy for a cooling system for just a power adapter but it could be worth it seeing as it could save your 360 from overheating and being damaged

There's problems with both the external power supply (aka, power "brick") and the main unit itself. Basically, the processor overheats and effects heat sensitive chips around and causes the freezing. That's just a hardware problem. Call of Duty 2 is a whole 'nother story.

Ive seen some sites telling people to use fans they use for laptop computers. Now i think that would work for the 360 horizontally.
