Worms may be coming to Live Arcade

Those pesky little worms, intent on nothing
more than blowing up other worms, may be making their way to the Xbox Live Arcade in due course according to posts on
Team 17's forums. It would be excellent to see Worms make it over, as its multiplayer suitability and quirky
gameplay are core ingredients for a hit.We won't be seeing it any time soon if it does make it over; according to the forums, it "won't be a quick port".

That'd be freakin' awesome. Back in the 90's, I'd sit around, rocking out to Soundgarden, getting my game on with Worms on PS1. Ah, memories.

Yeah gives us worms , and some of the classic games from rare / ultimate play the game: knights lore , sabre vulfe , alien 8. give me this and i promise to buy them all. http://www.geekisgeek.com

I remember playing worms on the pc, using the horrid grey menu box to connect to my freinds for online gaming. Live would be great for this, friends list, no more postit notes with IP addresses stuck to the side of your monitor, not playing on laggy dialup anymore... ^_^
Come to think of it, I have the exact same memories of classic pc bomberman. That game could be great as well (if they stuck with the original formula and not one of the horrible later console versions.)
I'm giggly just thinking about it.

AAAAAAAAHHHHHH! This is SO exciting! I'm a huge (2d) Worms fan, and I actually tried emailing Team17 a couple months ago about this and was told that they were too busy working on the PSP/DS stuff and didn't have any plans for Live Arcade. I hope this is true. I know I would immediately buy it, as would a group of my friends. We just broke out Worms Armageddon at a LAN party this past weekend in fact.
