Xbox 360 replacement case concepts

Team Xtender is showing off the concept art for their Xbox 360 replacement case. There are two different concepts, one featuring an X-shaped cutout in the side, and the other a square (pictured). A neat idea to save yourself the trouble of spraypainting, and cutting out the plexiglass window. One has to wonder how easy it is though to transport the entire guts from one case to another. The case itself is screwless, which is sure to present some trouble to your average Joe.
One thing is sure, this will void the hell out of your warranty.

The "top-side" of the case really doesn't reveal anything all that interesting. You're going to get a great view of the DVD drive casing and a fan shroud.

I may void the hell out of the warranty but it still looks pretty badass. Its nice to see companies already going into 360 modding with both barrels blazing. My question is, if the case itself is translucent like the faceplate, wouldnt a clear plexiglass panel be somewhat redundant?

That would be sweet to have. But if it voids your warranty. I dunno, I have already had to send back my 360 to have it replaced with a new one.

What I want to know is where are they getting the cases from?
Are they buying 360 retail and modding them or do they have a OEM hook up for the 360 case itself.
I mean if they want to sell alot of them then going to best buy and buy 10 360 doesnt seem like its going to work.

dude are you that stupid? they take the 360 case and use cad programs to map out the shape the desired object and then have it sent to a plastic molding facility where they have all the tools needed to bang out like say 100 an hour.
just check this baby out of mine

Wow! That looks amazing! I like yours a lot better than the ones featured in the article because you can see the disc in the drive (in addition to its overall pimpness, the lcd is crazy). I wonder if XCM will feature neon with their cases?

Yeah, I would take care voiding the warranty. I'm having to send mine back too and get it replaced. But the case looks awesome. Cool system, but some bugs still left to be worked out. At least Microsoft is incredibly cool about it.
