Xbox games to Xbox 360: the improvement

GameSpot set out to determine just how much better original Xbox games look on the Xbox 360. While the compatibility list grows, this type of comparison will be all the more valuable. To add some more kick to the distinction between the two, they compiled a video with both sources to see how noticeable it is. The game in question is Halo 2 and was recorded in 480p and 720p.

They provide a screenshot that does more than enough to prove the contrast though. One of the biggest things that the Xbox 360 improves for the game are the jaggies. Coupled with a higher resolution, it's easy to see where the advantage lies. Check out the feature to see the other games and their improvements as well (DOA3, GTA: Vice City and The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction).

If you haven't already dropped your last-gen console, you may have another reason to now.
