IGN to announce "unexpected" 360 game

Douglas Perry, editor at IGN, is promising to deliver exclusive details on a 360-only game "you never would have expected" around noon PST. Perry is hyping this announcement, which supposedly includes screens and an interview with the company president, on the IGN boards. He says nobody in the forums has come close to guessing what the mystery title is, so prepare to be either thrilled, apathetic or annoyed that Doug got your hopes up. Anybody have any ideas as to what it could be?

UPDATE: Yup, it's been announced: Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis. Nevery came closest at #6 with "PONG 360."

Yup, MG360 would be a good guess. That would make sense in relation to the possible PS3 delays. Dev. Companies gots'ta make their ends too.

#8) Wow, how awesome would it be for them to come out with the next MGS on the 360 before coming out on the PS3? Good idea, I'd be shocked.

Along the same lines, other thing that would be really shocking would be Grand Theft Auto hitting 360 before PS3.

The most shocking, but will not happen, is if Nintendo started developing for the 360.

I think that Nights Into Dreams on the 360 could be absolutely huge and it i think it would have appeal to all three regions, US, Japan and Europe.

MechAssault is one of them ten dollar platinum hits now, seems like a good time to renew interest in the franchise. I'd be seriously surprised if this mystery announcement were an XBLA title. "President" gives the air of a larger developer, and world premiere screenshots? Seems like too much a hullabaloo over a $5 game?

Come on People!!!! It's supposed to be something that "you never would have expected"....and the best ou can come up with is MGS and FF games??

Why don't you just say the next Resident Evil Game or the next Medal of Honor game, ooh, maybe GTA...yeah, that's really suprising (note: that's called sarcasm, boys and girls)

I would like to see something cool and new....oh, wait, no, this is Microsoft we're talking about - it'll probably be another stupid racing game - Ridge Racer 17 anyone?

Rockstar has already said that they are developing a x360 only game. I don't think any announcement out of them would be very surprising.

I'd be surprised if a sega game like sonic came out for the x360 exclusively.

It will most likely be an arcade announcement, due to that most major games would have most likely been leaked, hopefully it will be a remake of a classic game (SONIC!) or a port of popular internet game!
