Video: Water-proof 360 controllers
Anyone else surprised that Mad Catz hasn't tried to market this idea for $19.95?

Ah, idiocy. A tradition that will never die.
Macobyte @ May 31st 2006 10:51AM
My God, that was stupid.
Eric @ May 31st 2006 10:56AM
What do you do if you accidently splsh water onto your 360? I don't think that they would replace it for just being that stupid.
Tob3z @ May 31st 2006 11:03AM
Excellent. So not only can I play PDZ while I am having a crap but I can do it when I am in the shower as well. The possibility's are endless!
stace @ May 31st 2006 11:36AM
there is allwayz someone and a midget side kick who has to be a fool..lol
DaStuph @ May 31st 2006 11:41AM
What a couple of assclowns.
People have been doing that for years with tv remotes next to their hottub. Give me a real waterproof 360 controller so I can plant my lazy butt in the hottub for an evening of GRAW and I'm all over it!
Hehehe.

Unfortunately, there isn't a screen out there large and visible that can be read in direct sunlight.
jaemz @ May 31st 2006 1:36PM
no one says you can't swim at night...

The video is dumb funny, but the idea is actually a good one. I dont own a pool, so I would never buy it, but I see it being a good idea for pool owners. What better way to use that new poolside wireless TV you just bought then connected to an xbox 360, playing with wireless controllers. Also good for hottubs like mentioned above.

Must fight urge to kill Australians.

has nobody yet diagnosed them with down syndrome?
Don Wilson @ May 31st 2006 3:48PM
Who knew cali-guys could migrate to Austrailia?
EdZ @ May 31st 2006 5:04PM
Brilliance! I don't know what you guys are complaining about; It's not supposed to be a practival solution for water-resisitant high-definition gaming, it's an excuse to stuff some expensive hardware in some plastic bags and splash around!
Josh @ May 31st 2006 5:06PM
Slow news day huh?
Nice to see the Live Vision camera release dates didn't warrant a post from you guys...
Also, why am I seeing more 360 news on Joystiq lately than on here? Isn't the point of this blog as an off-shoot to take those "double" stories and post them here too?
Brian @ May 31st 2006 5:14PM
Someone who uses the word assclown is no different than the people in this video.
Adam @ May 31st 2006 5:18PM
First BBQ sauce now this? Welcome to next-gen news reporting!
Gifford @ May 31st 2006 6:42PM
I agree. This blog is definitely headed the wrong direction. I have nothing against humor, but I also expect a little bit more meaningful content in between these kinds of posts.
Chuck @ May 31st 2006 8:19PM

"Someone who uses the word assclown is no different than the people in this video."

I'm watching the video, and in the first 10-20 seconds I realize it's going to be lame, and sure enough that was by far one of the stupidest things ever recorded. Thanks for encouraging us all to watch that.
