Moms really do know best. They also get results. Here's a
satisfying tale from a guy who bought a used 360 on Ebay for $315 and got burned. He does a little detective work and tracks the non-shipping seller down to some town in Ohio, then calls him up only to get the phone slammed in his face. So who does he call next? The cops? Nah, he dials the dude's Mom and rats him out. Minutes later he has a refund, an apology and the pleasure of posting the most humiliating
Ebay feedback ever. As reader Jamaicanbwoydre notes: Vigilante justice rules -- especially when Mom is playing the Charles Bronson role.

Brilliant!

While I agree that it's brilliant - just looking at the retard's feedback shows that he did the same thing 5 auctions ago. And didn't even bother responding to the negative feedback. Lame.

Funny.. but come on, $315 for a 360 Premium?? and the dude has some shady feedback?? You're kinda walking right into that.

315 for an xbox 360 premium package is kind of.... shady. its gotta be a trap
Mouse @ Jun 16th 2006 8:56AM
that was definitely a trap

You waited a whole week before stalking this guy and harrassing his mother?
tiremfej @ Jun 16th 2006 11:07AM
I for one, congratulate the guy. Job well done, eBay has gone off the hook, and not in a good way.

Looks like you should read a seller's feedback before you buy, cheapo! Just an idiotic move on the buyers part.

lol
I woulda contacted paypal but calling his mom also works evidently
haha!!

The story full circle isn't as funny as it first seems. The truth is as everyone said - the buyer was an idiot. It's hard to feel bad for someone who doesn't see the obvious signs. I in no way condone rat-bastard sellers, but grow a brain dude. You created your own trainwreck.
This only serves to bring back memories of all those bananaheads who let their greed buy them an actual xbox 360 BOX.

i wouldn't call the buyer an "idiot"... because as you can see other people (importantly) the few after that other negative bought and GOT their stuff.
i personally avoid ANYONE with feedback like that.
that being said... that's a funny story.
cakefoo @ Jun 21st 2006 11:31PM
I'd have been pissed though, because he only got a refund- he didn't get the 360 he won- now he's gotta pay full-price anywhere else...
Oh and to people calling the buyer such an idiot, did you ever think- this guy probably would have shipped the console had the auction reached a higher bid that a measily $315!!! Just the nerve of the seller to not even refuse the payment, offer the refund, that F***ing a-hole scoundrel :P
