Forza Motorsports 2 faceplate
This Forza Motorsports 2 faceplate popped up at EBGames, on sale September 12. Now we just need a game and a racing wheel to go with it.[Thanks Crimson Angelus]

i've never played Forza 1, maybe i'm missing something here, but that color scheme looks EXACTLY like PGR3's... dark gray / stripes + orange

I didn't notice that at first pixelate, but now that you mention it...
By the way, if Forza 2's marketing campaign simply said "Forza- It's PGR3 without the load times", they'd have my money.

Mr Trout,
1 - "Now it Can Be Told" was an excellent read :)
2 - Forza and PGR actually play pretty differently. It doesn't have the frustrating run you into the wall bastard ai that PGR does, and by and large it's more of a simulation. graphically they're pretty much the same, but that's where the similarities end... at least between the previous entries of the two series. Forza's great if you desire a solid racing simulator a la Gran Turismo.
