X06: Assassin's Creed gameplay video

Taken directly from the X06 press briefing yesterday, here's a video of Ubisoft's Jade Raymond demonstrating Assassin's Creed gameplay. That's right. For really reals y'all. It's actual gameplay of Assassin's Creed. No CGI filler here, just the real deal. Unfortunately, this video ends before the mysterious death screen, which has something of an anachronistic feel to it compared to the overall game. We're not sure if the demonstrator was supposed to die or not, but the demo snapped off very quickly when she did. Check out the video after the break.

Ok...That was the most amazing thing ever. This game with the cg trailers was on my top ten but now it is at NUMBER 1. WOW. WOW...damn wow lol.

I watched the video... Correction, this is now number 1 on my list. Halo 3 is now number 2.

umm whats the big thing about the last screen looks like 3 options... Hard drive, memories and options....

maybe the memories bit is what we are not meant to see but other than that it looks like a standard "Opps i died" screen.

I didn't get to see this during E3... but now that I have, I am looking forward to getting this when it comes out.

I was really sceptical about this game because of the fan boy hype that surrounded it, but now I am extremely impressed with this demonstration, I am hoping that they realease a demo on the marketplace, because now I just cant wait for it.

the blending in with the monks to get close to the target had me speechless. that and the crowd interactions. This is what we mean by next-gen gameplay for sure.

My thoughts exactly. I even didn't like it when i watched the trailer on marketplace yesterday. Seeing it in action made me a believer! hurry up with the marketplace demo!

OMG, this game looks amazing. I just can't wait for it, blending int he crowds and wall climbing and stuff, I could imagine myself planning out the perfect assassination, can't wait.

Supposedly you play the game as a future descendant of the assassin - and are witnessing the events thru a virtual reality "dna memory"

oh. my. god. I don't even own and xbox360 but if i were to buy one, it would be for this game. Its one of those games that you dream of making but never know how - they have done it. Gears of war looks fun, but seems like it could get repetitive after a while. This game has so many possibilities! its not even about the killing that much, its more how you get there and that is what excites me. I think i may have an erection now...
