Is this the same device as the
Datel XSATA (pictured at right) under a different name? They are both the same price. Note that the description is also nearly identical to the
Datel Transfer Kit, making things even more confusing when comes to this company usually interesting products.

the XSATA is just an adapter to place between the HDD and 360 that adds a USB port, still have to have the thing attached to the 360, the Xport is an actual dockin station that allows you to just attach the HDD or a memory card to it to transfer for your PC, much better if you dont have a laptop and your PC isnt in the same room as the 360

Does anybody know if there is a way to transfer all of ones original xbox hdd to a PC? KOTOR has files that are too large to fit on a memory card.

I picked up the Xport at Best Buy two weekends ago. It's different from the XSATA in that you don't need to have the harddrive connected to the 360 in order to use it. It works like an independent docking station for your 360 harddrive and memory cards, and connects to your PC using USB 2.0.
I bought it with the primary goal of transferring my old Xbox gamesaves to the 360 harddrive, and I was successfully able to do that using Xplorer 360 and Xbox Saves Manager. It helps if your old Xbox is hacked so you can transfer the gamesaves via FTP.
Now if I could just figure out how to put my own videos on the 360 harddrive so that I could view them on the 360. (Anyone?)
