Leaked H3 info is just the beginning

In Friday's Bungie Weekly Update, Frankie speaks briefly about the Halo 3 magazine scans that were leaked last week. For one, EGM has images that weren't leaked via the Swedish magazine, Level. Not only that but the folks at Bungie have one or two more Halo related surprises before the year is over. What these surprises could be is anyone's guess. We'd say that it will be a new trailer at best, and a demo at most impossiblest (not a real work). In other Bungie news, Halo 3 matchmaking tests are going swimmingly and the Halo movie continues apace, despite recent setbacks.

Anyone care to hazard a guess about what Halo 3 info will be revealed before New Year's?

Besides a new video or even a demo i think it could be the day we can buy it, or news that Halo 3 will be the first 360 game that you can earn Microsoft Points, by making maps and selling them....well i can hope :-p

Keep hoping:P, and I think a release date is the best bet, along with more screens and/ or a trailer if we're VERY VERY LUCKY. I think you're probably more likely to be murdered by a small pigeon than see a Halo 3 demo... :P

The info will probly be the fact of what #3 said, or the fact that they will drop this when MGS4 will be released....

that X button better not be for taking enemies weapons. I read this forum with all these kids lactating at the thought of it and i just think it would be a horrible addition. what kind of expertly trained killing machine gets his/her weapons taken from their own hands? To be honest, im not sotked about these needle grenades either. proximity mines anyone? it takes a lot of skill out of the game. i enjoy laying plasma grenades with precise timing that will kill careless enemies who turns corners ensuspectingly. its a satisfying technique. this needle grenades would let you sit back and wait, requiring no skill at all. love the mongoose, LOVE the video recording (can you say "evidence", cheaters?) ARRGGHGHGHGHGHGH HALO 3!!!!! AAAAAHHHHYEEEAARARAHHHHGGHGHGHGHGGGHH!!!

As for the news I'am going to say either a release date or maybe that X button. Hopefully another trailer is soon to come also. My guess is the X button which should be one of the following: Start your recording for the videos, Sprint, and I can't really think of anything else good. Maybe a command feature but prolly not. Anyway Halo 3 is gonna rock.

Ahhhh yes the super secret shocker that Bungie is planning on is quite shocking indeed, would you like to know? i bet you would, fine then ill tell you but its a spoiler.

Bungies super secret shocker is...Cortana turns out to be a DUDE!!!!!! My gawd she turns out to be one of the trolls on the internet that pretend to be female, and Master Chief let him in his head OMG!!

It will be a multiplayer video, there's no doubt in my mind.

But with the new control system, what button changes grenade types, and turns on a light in single player?

I'm thinking that: the way the books played out, the up-coming 4th book around the corner & the mongoose there will be more spartans. master chief is prob not the last spartan and the mongoose sounds like a perfect vehicle to send out a little spartan co-op death team. GoW is bringing co-op to XBL so im sure that they'll put that feature in H3. since everyone wants to be master chief, more spartans should be added to the line up. maybe specialized spartans... someone to snipe, another is a vehicle pro, explosives pros, maybe even a medic, ya get my point. ive got my fingers crossed for master chief to meet some old friends and make more along the way.
