Tons of new GOW multiplayer vids

The fine folks at GameTrailers are apparently having a ball playing Gears of War multiplayer matches, because they won't stop posting videos of them. Right now, they are up to twelve (!) different videos. We've picked one in particular for its chainsaw wielding, headshot making goodness. Plus, you'll get a chance to see what it's like to play as one of the Locust horde. This video, and all the others, looks like a lot of fun. Check it out after the break. Oh, and the video is age verficataion required. And don't think you can cheat just because there's absolutely nothing we can do to stop you.
Now that you've watched this, head over to GameTrailers and download the rest of them in full HD glory. Oh, and just for kicks, can I get a "Hell yeah!"?

The game is gonna be really good and it deserves most of the attention it has gotten...however, I believe it is being slightly over-hyped due to the fact that there have only been a few REALLY good titles on the 360 thus far. I think GoW can easily take the top spot on 360 charts

Firstly, that was a terribly stupid article 9P. The entire article is about how GoW isn't the next Halo. Well no shit, that goes without saying. It isn't the next Halo, it's Gears of War. Also, he says that there have been disappointing killer apps in the past like 50 Cent: Bullet Proof and 25 To Life. Wait a second, what?! Those weren't killer apps and they were never meant to be. They were just freaking awful games about "thug life". As for Gears of War, I don't know anything about the hype because I've largely been ignoring it, assuming the game would be for meatheads, but I must admit that it does indeed look like it's going to be very good. It has suddenly started to look interesting this past week, so much so that I went out and bought a copy. Now, with these videos of what the multiplayer game is going to be like, I am not only not skeptical of it anymore but I think it is going to be awesome. I can't wait til the 7th.

OH MAN!!! I was hoping I was just having problems downloading. They sure enough did yank the damn movies. I wonder whether it was a traffic issue or if perhaps Mark Rein sent them an e-mail?

I was able to see 12/15 of them before they were taken down. Any doubts I had toward the game are gone after watching those vids... I can't fucking wait for this game now.

the videos were released prematurely...it said on their forum...or thats what ppl are suspecting...its expected they'll b back up 2morrow sometime at midday.

I downloaded and saved every one of them last night. I've been looking forward to this game for a while now, but watching these videos gave me a raging boner.
add that multiplayer to the single player (with aforementioned live co-op) and my pants are gonna asplode.

You are sorely mistaken. 25 to life was extremely overhyped, with magazine covers and game videos. It was mentioned to be the next killer app, yea it sucked and that was my point. Do you remember Ghost Recon 2 on the Xbox, that was over hyped, good graphics and all, horrible save system and terribly hard gameplay.
Do you work in retail? Because if you did you would know that when 50 Cent Bullet Proof was released, most stores over bought copies because they were sure it was going to be the "next best". It wasn't.
All I am saying is, don't be surprised if GOW is not all that they say it is.
