Superman demo tomorrow?

We revealed two weeks ago that a Superman Returns demo was on the way, and now Xbox Solution reports that it should show up tomorrow. We haven't seen anything official regarding the demo (and Xbox Solution curiously neglects to cite the source of their info), so chalk this one up to a rumor for now. If any of you have seen this info reported elsewhere, let us know. Frankly, we hope it does come out tomorrow, because we're actually pretty anxious to give Supes a try. Anyone else out there (cautiously) optimistic about this title?

The game doesn't look too bad. However, it is being made by EA and we all know that they put out "quality" games. No one hold your breath!

I cant wait for this demo. I really wanted the game around the time the movie came out and I'm ready to give Supes another gaming try...

VERY cautiously optimistic. Honestly, I'm not really excited very much at all. I'd be happy to play something slightly interesting between Gears sessions though. We'll just have to wait and see what the result of a 6 month (more?) delay is.

I'm pretty excited about this game too. I loved the Spiderman games and being able to fly around as Superman in an open environment sounds like a blast.
However, it's an EA game. They'll probably start us out as Clark Kent and make us pay extra to unlock Superman.

After I saw this video on Gametrailers.com:

I was pretty excited about the game. The "super speed" looks fun.

i've been following this since the first trailer was released.... i can't explain how anxious i am for the demo. I really hope it comes out tomorrow. Like somebody said above, the combination of spiderman2-like gameplay in the big open world environment of Metropolis as the MAN OF STEEL himself, having all his abilities right from the beginning of the game, excites me more than the release of gears of war. I loved spiderman 2, and im a much larger superman fan, so this makes sense to me.

I just finished playing the demo. WOW. This is the ONLY Superman game I've ever really enjoyed playing. Like enjoyed as in sitting on the edge of my screen screaming "Eat a fat boy!" as I throw the burger mascot guy at enemies. This game is insanely fun to get into, and all the controls are -- well -- you get used to it and once you do it's a really good control scheme. I just dove right into the demo and was able to figure out enough ground and air combos to do reasonably well.
There's nothing more satisfying than grabbing a big mean robot by it's neck and thrashing him against a building and then on the ground, pummeling him. LOL What's that? Want some more? How about I freeze you and chuck you into that bank over there? Not enough? Here's a bus for you!
This is definitely going on my "to buy" list. And props to EA for making a demo that gets right to the good parts.

The demo is now available on XBL.
