DOA5 is alive, bounciness abounds
Professional drunken philanderer, Tomonobu Itagaki, despite rumors that Dead or Alive 4 would be the final game in the series, recently confirmed that Dead or Alive 5 is in the works. We don't know too much about the title yet, but Itagaki-san has dropped a few hints. First, he claims that he has already envisioned the opening scene in his head (inside Itagaki's head ... what must that be like?), and will probably drop the tag team feature. We find that last bit more than a little strange, since he has frequently insulted the Tekken series for lacking a tag option. Frankly, we couldn't care less about the tag play if it gives us a passable online experience. No console was announced, but given Team Ninja's history (and success) with Xbox, you can bet it will hit 360. So, if you thought the 360's days of wildly exaggerated bouncing breasts were over, think again. They will be back, only this time they will have an actual, you know, game behind them.

is it me or does x360f (or engadget and joystiq for that matter) love the word "abounds"?!

"is it me or does x360f (or engadget and joystiq for that matter) love the word 'abounds'?!"
I just thought it sounded nice next to "bounciness." I'd say that I was using the writer's device of assonance, but then I'd look like a jerk. I don't want to look like a jerk.
Besides, there are only six entries that use the word on X360F:

As for Joystiq and Endgaget, well ... jerks, the lot of them :)

Why dont they just name it Pr0no 5 or babe watch 5, maybe even Maxim fighting 5, I've always known DOA to focus more on the girls then a storyline or even depth that makes it worthwhile playing.
Insulting the Tekken series does it no justice either seeing as Tekken apart from 4 has always been a success, each of them scoring 9 or more in many reveiws, even Tekken DR on PSP got a better review and had more depth and seriousness to it the DOA.
DOA devs even gave me the impression they knew nothing about fighting, they just stuck the most obvious kinds of characters and fighting styles in the game to make it look cool, and everyone looks pretty, theres no aggresive "real" looking fighters in it to talk about, they all look anime and ever so vulnerable. Its like they just thought "Oh, lets just make a fighting game" completly out of the blue.
DOA is my most despised game series on 360. -_-"

The devs are such pervs, wanna bet that if it was legal, the girls in this game wouldn't be naked? Wanna bet even more that the devs didn't test the game out before with the girls naked while they dribbled over it?
Its kinda stupid and sad watching the trailer of virtual girls throwing thier hair back as if they are real and stunning, fixing thier thongs or skimpy bikini and lying around on the sand in rather dirty ways.
I hope this stays on 360, make it exclusive dammit!

It would be legal as long as they put and "Ao" rating on it. Problem is with and "Ao" rating, many retailers would refuse to sell it.
