Oblivion: Knights of the Nine now available

Boy, when it rains it pours. Microsoft is making damned sure that 360 owners stay glued to the couch this Thanksgiving. After all, MS wouldn't want you going outside to score a Wii or PS3 on Black Friday now would they? First, Small Arms is released. Then Video Marketplace goes live. Tomorrow we have the Lost Planet multiplayer demo, and now, now we get new content for Obliovion. Entitled Knights of the Nine, the new content is the not so exclusive expansion that will be packaged with the PS3 version. The content is supposed to be epic in scope, giving players access to new items, new enemies to fight, and a new faction to join (guess what their name is ...). Unfortunately, we still have memories of Morrowind destroying our old Xbox's poor little disc drive, so we've been shy about Oblivion. Have any of our Oblivionites out there dropped 800 points for this yet?

I'm waiting for some kind of combined package. This plus all the smaller addons in a package for say... no more than $15 and they'll have my money. All that content will probably be another 20 hours of gameplay which I can then pull in, in one long stretch.

It comes with the smaller add-ons... or at least, it's supposed to.
moore @ Nov 22nd 2006 2:40PM
no, only the PC, RETAIL $20 version comes with the previous addons. This is the same as the $10 download only PC version.

I'll be purchasing this add-on when I get my copy of Oblivion back. It will be nice to have a reason to play it again.

even though ive had my oblivion locked up for god knows how long, i still bought this because the only thing that kept me playing oblivion was the factions, i bought the expantion earlier this morning and i will be playing the crap out of oblivion as soon as im done with twilight princess, if you dont have a wii, get one, they are deffinetly worth the money, neway, ttyl, gamertag: LostIdiot

I to will buy it when it is bundled together with all the content that has been released so far and if added achievements are obtainable with it.
For the Video Marketplace, I watched a couple previews and each one froze up on me half way through and I don't like how the preview was so small either. And whats up with all the standard version of movies available? They should all be HD quality, this is next gen where talking about here, this is not acceptable.
Enzo @ Nov 22nd 2006 5:28PM
Not acceptable? Who the hell says things like that?
lachry @ Nov 22nd 2006 6:03PM
yeah well i have an sd tv and i'd rather not pay extra for something that i can get no advantage from. and i think ms realizes that most people still have sd tv's and could really care less about HD content

I won't even consider this until I'm finished doing everything in Oblivion. I've been playing it since last May and I've only just finished the main quest - and there's loads more side quests to do and loads more achievements to be unlocked.
And it's a good load of fun, too.

I bought my game in june when I started work took me a month to finish everthing except the dark brotherhood. I was burned out by then. But now I can play again b/c of this patch.
MAN I LOVE MY 360!!!!!!!!!
