$30 off a Premium 360 and wireless control
Circuit City is currently running an offer open to all Microsoft Hotmail/Live mail users. Users of these services will receive a $30 instant rebate after purchasing both an Xbox 360 Premium system and a wireless controller. A wireless controller retails for $49.99, so basically this deal gives you one for $19.99. All in all it's not the best deal in the world, but if you were planning on picking up a 360 anyway, a $20 dollar wireless controller isn't bad.Anybody else out there find any good deals lately?

I was just at Costco today during lunch, and they have the Premium Console, with an extra wireless controller. The play and Charge Kit, and a game, for only $449...a great deal. Plus, you get the handy Costco lifetime warranty on it there.

Somebody started a thread on Cheap Ass gamer that TRU will be giving a 100 dollar gift card with the purchase of a X360 premium system starting 12/17. Anybody hear of this deal or is it an internet rumor.

CAG is always reliable. The $100 gift card is NEXT week though, so if people want a really good deal, they should wait a little longer for a 360.

Since this is a massive BLT marketing strategy, my conclusion is that MS is working hard into reaching a more broad mass of potential buyers, so they can meet their 10 MM unit sales before year end. Although a $ 30 off on the console is not significant (as it isn't any MS offer in their products), surely this promo can get some traction, at least some buzz at creating interest on the console, Anyway, I think that those guys at Redmond are a little worried about their much promised sales target.
