UK deal: Wireless controller for �8

A reader sent us a very nice deal for all of our UK readers out there. LXDIRECT is offering wireless 360 controllers for £8.19. All you have to do is enter two discount codes -- one for £25 off your next order and one for 10% off -- and it's yours. We don't know how long this is being offered, so you'd best get one quick. These typically retail for £39.99, so this is a substantial savings. We won't pretend to understand crazy British money, what with its bobs and ha'pennies, but apparently this deal will save you 30 quid. That's good, right?

That is a VERY good deal! I don't even think you can get third-party Xbox controllers for that small amount.

I doubt this works. The voucher codes are supposed to be for people who have LX Visa cards. I think for some people it has worked, and for some people it hasn't. I'm not going to chance it until I'm 100% sure it will work.

Bah, god damn, you'll need to wait though. Delivery isn't for 7 weeks, but still, you shave a hefty amount off the price. : )

I had one of these a few weeks ago - it's a bit of a dodgy deal apparently and loads of people never got the discount.

It's obviously loads more expensive over here in the uk but if you know how to shop smart then you can still get great deals. There's always loads of scams and discount codes hanging around online.
