Crackdown demo hits XBLM Jan. 18th

Crackdown, the anticipated title from Grand Theft Auto creator, David Jones, is hitting retail shelves on February 20, 2007. On January 18, 360 owners will be able to download a demo of the game from Xbox Live Marketplace. The demo will feature both single-player and online cooperative modes, giving players a chance to experience what Crackdown has to offer. We've been covering as much Crackdown as possible in the last several months -- Joystiq even got a chance to play it -- and we're very excited to give the demo a try.
Anyone else raring to get a crack at Crackdown?

I'm also very excited about Crackdown. The graphics look good and the gameplay sounds really fun. There seems to be alot going on in the game enivironment which is really good, plus of course Crackdown has coop which makes this game a MUST BUY.
I'm based in UK so I sincerely hope the release date is identical to North America or I will be pi$$ed off.

IGN has been covering Crackdown all week. While the arm animation while jumping is still there I don't think its going to take away from the hotness of jumping on and off buildings and over cars.
I seriously can't wait!

Maybe the demo will make this game more appealing much like the Saint's Row demo did for that game.

I'm not excited for, or anticipating, Crackdown, but I'd still love to play it and make my own judgements on it.

Crackdown is one of those games that I have been following since I first heard about it last year. I'm looking forward to getting a copy, and hearing that a demo is coming next month is that much cooler. The video I've seen so far looks good, and I can't wait to play the game. I just hope the release date does not get pushed back too far.
