Achievement acquired dates are on the fritz

The other day when Xbox Live matchmaking went down it looks to have affected Achievement acquired dates too. Justin10925 posted on the Xbox.com forums an account of having all of his previous achievements show that they've been acquired a month after they actually were. After Justin10925 got flamed in the forums, we investigated our own achievement stash and lo and behold our Gears of War achievements are a month off. Achievements that were acquired back in November now show an acquired date of December ... doh! If you have an iron-clad memory and can recall specific days/months you acquired certain achievements then please check them. If things are a little wacky please comment, so we can build up evidence on this issue. We say investigate fanboys, investigate!

Yup, looks like all of the November achievements were fast-forwarded an entire month to December. :(

Not only are the achievments off a month, but when you check online and look at the last time you played a game, that's fast-forwarded a month as well (for those played in November, at least)

Yes they are messed up. I got COD3 on release (10th NOV) but my first achievement says 10th DEC

I haven't checked out my achievements recently, but under your char info in r6v it has always said my date of service started around a year before the game even came out.

Yeah, same here. My achievements in November have been changed to November. Odd that the list hasn't been re-sorted. It's still in ordered played, with most recent at the top. The November games are still in the place they should be, but last played dates are in December.

As long as the gamerscore i.e. the number itself is unchanged and unquestioned i.e. I don't get acused of cheating for some reason, than I don't really care to much.

Yup, that happened to me, too. Like everyone said, it seems to only cover the achievements I got in November. Everything else is about what it should be. (Except I have one achievement with no date on it at all. But I got that one in October.)

Yup, got me too.. I managed to get the first Viva Pinata APs on 26/12/06, but the hardest ones around 7/12/07...

My handful of achievements from November 2005 now say I got them in December 2005, as well. Someone out there hates November.

BIG QUSTION...will this affect your xbox live???? What I mean is will they cut you off a month earily if you have xbox live gold??????

Games with wrong achievement dates, all played in November. All of my Dead Rising achievements were done during thanksgiving, when I rented it, it hasn't been played in December.
