Gimme a slow cooker and Gears of War please

This isn't breaking news per se, but definitely yummy news. Over at Amazon.com's UK site they have a slow cooker for purchase, but it's no ordinary slow cooker. This slow cooking mechanical wonder is a Kenwood CP666 Curry Slow Cooker and can hold 3.5 liters of any gourmet delight. But what's this we see further down the page? Under the Perfect Partner recommendation section we see Amazon pairing the slow cooker with ... Gears of War? We guess it's a match made in heaven, because it is a proven fact that Mr. Fenix does indeed love his pot roast. Or maybe you're supposed to slow cook your Gears disc for six hours ... anyone want to try cooking up Gears and report back to us?

I slow-cooked my copy of Gears for 8 hours, stuck it in the 360, and now everything tastes better.
Seriously, though, I got a cool new menu... multiplayer cheats. Just watch my Truskill Ranking now!

Maybe it cooks reeeaally slow, so you have plenty of time to play Gears of War while you wait for your delicious stew to finish.

I think you mean "per se," Dustin.

I just finished my copy of Gears of War some fava beans and a nice Cianti.. Even being in the slow cooker all day, it was tough and plasticy. My tummy hurts.

Hey, fill it with meatballs and sit down with a buddy for Gears of War coop play. You've got warm food for your 6-8 hours of gaming.

Keep in mind, it's for curry, so your Gears of War will not only be hotter and more savory, but spicier, too.

sorry for the double-post

Curry might make GoW a little less boring and nausea-inducing.
I tried it today. Didn't like it. Run, shot some guys, run, shoot some more guys, run, shoot some more guys. . . BLEH. Yeah, it's pretty and well-made, but it's a lot of pretty nothing. On top of this, the shaky-cam technique they use made me nauseous.
I guess that makes me the only Xbox 360 fan who doesn't like GoW.
So, I swapped it for Dead Rising. MUCH better game, in my opinion.

uh, nobody's made the 666 reference yet???
guess gears isn't much of a satanic game. but you could certainly bend the locust into the devil, riiight?
