WRUP: new beginnings edition

With National Hangover Day on Monday, this week really flew by, bringing us to Friday already. Naturally, with Friday comes a new edition of "What are you playing?" With the arrival of a new year comes a chance for new beginnings. As such, we've been playing Geometry Wars like crazy (I am both excited and a little ashamed to admit I just hit 500K points the yesterday). Not only that, we've got Gears back in the box as well (well, Dustin never really stopped). Of course, we've still got the Piñata on rotation as well, and Star Trek: Legacy should show up any day now. Also, in celebration of the new year, MyGamerCard.net has upgraded custom leaderboards to hold up to 250 users. If you never made it onto either of our leaderboards, now is your chance. You'd better hurry though, they fill up fast.

500k richard, i would have expected multi million scores the ammount of love you give to geo wars, i feel quite honoured about my million without dying :) still annoyed that i wasnt online for my 3.5 mill. I only got gears for crimbo and it bassicly hasnt been out of the drive since, ramm on insane is making my pull my hair out thou. cant wait for worms thou.

Hoooray, I finally got my 360 back from repair and am doing all I can to catch up on lost time. I am going to stay up until 4 in the morning every day and play until my eyes glaze over in delight.
That, of course, means lots and lots of Gears, lots and lots of F.E.A.R. (I received it for the holidays), and kicking some flaming-bag-of-poop-heads in Small Arms.

Awesome...finally got on that leaderboard (the first one) and I'm actually in the top 20. Didn't check where I'd be if they combined though.
Anyway...I'll still be playing Saints Row (via Gamefly). Glitchy like crazy but still fun. Hopefully, I'll also get to finally dig into Dead Rising which I borrowed from a friend. It's a sandbox weekend I guess. And maybe a dash of Viva and Gears...who knows?

Thanks for the update, I can now participate on the leaderboard. :D Not too shabby in 20th place.

Gears of War and THP8. Two really great games. I just wish the 360 had a disc switcher and then I would never have to get up from the couch.

RS Vegas, finishing off single player and earning xp on multiplayer. The only thing is that I'd like to play with people who aren't 13 year olds that curse like sailors. Any ideas?

Well, I finished Xenosaga.
I've not decided whether I should finish up Eternal Darkness, and any other misc. non-360 games I have in my "to do" pile.
As far as the 360, I should probably finish Condemned

im gettin back to residence/uni on the evening of the 7th...so i can guarantee you that i'll be gears-ing a whole sh*tload this upcoming week. :D
