Xbox 360 stolen from teen cancer patient

A news station in Boston is reporting that the home of a Vermont teen, who is undergoing cancer treatment in Boston, was targeted by a group of thieves. The thieves stole his Xbox 360 and over $1,000 in games and DVDs. Police believe that the thieves knew the teenager, have been to the house before, and knew he wouldn't be home since he was undergoing cancer treatment. High school friends and teammates have come together to help the family with bills and a local radio station received a donated Xbox 360 to give to the teen. We hope those thieves understand what they did on both a legal and an emotional level and get some sort of guidance in their lives.

It's one thing to steal Xbox 360's from trucks... stores... etc, but its another step lower to steal from a teen cancer patient...

it could have been random thieves who just stole that stuff... maar die polisie...

i seriously don't get this? just because the kid has cancer and what not, they make a big story of how he was targeted because the thieves new exactly when he was going to get his cancer treatment.

You have to be kidding me!! This is just repugnant. Having lost a father to cancer, I know how hellish it can be to fight the disease. I am sure capping people in Gears of War was a nice distraction from the real misery in this kid's life.

It is during times like these that I wish there was a hell, so the kids who robbed him could burn in it.

Damn, now I'm all pissed off.

to the retard who said:just because the kid had cancer...man you must not have ever been around that! my father died last mothers day from cancer....and i had to watch him-cancers the most painfull way to die.next to having a towel head behead you...what cancer pateints go through..this kid could be dying from it.heck we found out my dad had cancer 2 weeks before he died..i say it is a big deal if these low life punks took something from this kid who was suffering from the pains of cancer.

no offense. but why does he get special treatment? just because hes sick? now. im not saying what the criminals did was right and they deserve whatever bad comes there way, but if any of our 360's were stolen and $1000 in games no one would care. if he didnt have cancer would it be the same?? i doubt it. now dont call me heartless but i just feel that because someone is terminally ill or its just the common cold doesnt mean they should get special treatment. maybe we should all get cancer and see what happens.

Let's focus on the most important lesson from this horrible act. That this wonderful, kind, young man gets through this disease, and his family and him can come back home and have a normal healthy life again. May God Bless them all, and I shall keep them in my prayers. As far as for the trash that stole it, if they do have any sense of guilt, come forward and be man enough to admit to your mistakes, and make it right. You will feel alot better, than trying to enjoy something that someone worked hard to earn, and you sitting on your ass eating popcorn playing his games. Shame on you losers! Community service would be a good punishment, and see how bad others have to make it through this life, one day at a time.
