20 new screens emerge from The Darkness

2K Games has updated their official website for the comic book based shooter, The Darkness. There, you can find 20 new screenshots of the game. A few of the images we've seen before, but the vast majority of them are new. This game is looking extremely pretty, and given Starbreeze Studios' track record with Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay, there's little question that the gameplay will be up to snuff. A neat little factoid for you fanboys out there is that Mike Patton will be lending his voice as the title character. Those of you who have heard "When Good Dogs Do Bad Things" should recognize that he is most definitely capable of providing a voice of something unearthly. With the critical acclaim of Riddick behind it, are you looking forward to The Darkness?

Visually it looks like a "Condemned 2".
It's not bad but also not impressive at all.
Maybe in movement it looks somewhat impressive.

The only 360 games I'm buying this year will probably be Forza 2, Assasin's Creed, GTA4 and Halo 3. This game does nothing for me.

Looks nice... but i think i need a demo to see if i really like it. The character models look great though.

I rented Chronicles of Riddick and returned it early so the fact that everyone keeps telling me the same team is making this game really doesn't do anything for me.
The graphics look OK, but not anything special.
The things hanging out of the playable character and taking up half the screen seem stupid.
I doubt this game will be any good.

i am so psyched for this game. i had seen screenshots before, but i was really blown away by this new site. the graphics look incredible and just messing around on that site has me tingling with anticipation. i cant wait!
