New Spider-Man 3 info revealed

TeamXbox recently sat down to speak with Treyarch's Chris Archer to discuss Spider-Man 3. The game should launch with the movie this May. Webheads will be happy to know that the swing system is based heavily on Spider-Man 2. The game also features a new spider sense, which allows you to see criminals and points of interest, rather than merely spotting icons on a map. Of course, the talk of the town is the new black Spidey suit. Players can look forward to spending up to 1/3 of Spider-Man 3 as the symbiote infested Peter Parker. Black suit Spider-Man will be capable of stronger attacks, including special "rage" attacks that have to be charged. Treyarch promises the biggest Spider-Man game yet with Spider-Man 3. There is also the possibility of some secret playable characters (one of which seems to be found). Embedded after the break is a newly released trailer for the game.

Unfortunately, that character looks to PS3 exclusive thanks to the fact that Sony puts the movie out. Pretty lame.

this game will be built primarily for the ps3 and will be ported to the 360. expect the ps3 to take this graphix battle.

why couldn't venom actually look like....um..venom? with as many special effects in the movie they definetly could have done better than just change the suit color.

...and Venom will look like Venom I don't know why they made Symbiote Spiderman look different though.

Technically that isn't "Venom".

True that is the black suit, not Venom. However, considering the *real* Venom is being played by Topher Grace, I have my doubts.
I like Topher, too, but Venom? Really?
