Mercenaries 2 screenshots go boom!

Today, Pandemic released a few screenshots of their upcoming sequel Mercenaries 2. The graphics look okay, the lighting is fine, and the textures will pass, but there's nothing jaw dropping here. Maybe the in-game explosions will make us wet ourselves, but we don't get the same effect from screenshots. Also, who's enjoying the main character's badass image? Tattoos, stylish hair, tight jeans, and a sleeveless shirt ... he's my idol. Anyone eagerly anticipating Mercenaries 2 and want to share your impressions of the new screenshots?

I'm looking forward to it. I loved the first Mercenaries game. Sorta like a war-based GTA.

Well the 360 is going to look just as good as this.... I really liked the first game especially the setting.. I hope the Venezuela is as good or even better then Korea.... We will see is't on my wishlist....

They gotta take the sequel up a notch. If it's just Mercs 1.5 (to steal the GRAW lingo going around) then I'll pass. The original was a fun game, but like many open world games by the end the gameplay had become stale, repetitive and the story wasn't exactly there to carry it though.

I haven't been keeping up on the sequel's development, but I get the idea there isn't a character choice this time around. It's the Swed or bust ... which is not a bad thing. I wasn't going through the first game three seperate times for what amounted to insignificant difference in play. Played thru once, saw one ending, good enough for me.
