New Marvel: Ultimate Alliance content soon

It looks like the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance content that was announced last month is nearing completion. The news comes from GameDaily.biz, though it seems the original article has been removed. Luckily, Evil Avatar has captured the important bits. The content pack is set to bring 8 different heroes and villains to the game, including Hawkeye, Magneto, the Incredible Hulk, Nightcrawler, Sabretooth, Doctor Doom (!), Cyclops, and Venom (!!). The Hero Pack and Villain Pack will set you back 500 points each, or you could grab all 8 in one pack for a cool 800. Individual gamer pictures will also be available for 80 points each. No release date has been confirmed.
Are you willing to drop the MS Points to breathe new life into Marvel?
Update: As awesome as Magneto is, he doesn't deserve to be listed twice. Added Nightcrawler, who richly deserves to be there.

maybe...any indication that they are going to add 250 more points to the achievements....

I will pick up the gamerpics. They better include Ghost Rider.

Why is Magneto twice on the list?

Certainly not to breath, but maybe to breathe.

Spelling and grammar police are always among the first to comment :)
Sigh... Fixed.

hmm.
when I bought the game i was looking forward to the additional content.
still am..
but for the type of game, I wonder if 800 points is a bit much to ask for just 8 more characters.
I might pay it for 12 or 16.
(its not like they dont have enuff characters to choose from)and some new levels.
but for just 8 and no extra content content?
I think I'll hold out for a price drop.
maybe I'm just cheap.
but the game is a fairly simple one. tossing in a hanfull of extra characters and nothing else feels like charging for unlockables.

New characters sound great, but unless there is some new content to go with it, that really doesn't add enough "legs" to warrant 800 MSP. At least not in my book.
The desire to go back and play the game as these characters isn't that great. Maybe half that price...

I haven't played it yet, but I should at some point.

It’s a fun game, but come on. That’s way too much for just new characters. At that price they had better throw in at least one new story arc to go along with the new characters. I’m not talking one level either, I mean a full on story arc.

Eight more ways to slam on the A and B buttons over and over and over again for six hours. No thanks. I'd rather buy the TMNT game twice.
