X3F readers show off custom 360 equipment

Yesterday we asked you, our beloved readers, to submit your custom faceplate designs, and you guys delivered. Our inbox has birthed forth plenty of great custom designs and we would be remiss in our fanboy duties not to share them. The above design was created by qbix. It seems qbix has been designing faceplates for a while, as his flicrk site is full of them. He even got recognized by Joystiq for his excellent work. Visit his flickr gallery to see lots more.
But wait, there's more. We received some other great designs too. Check 'em out after the break.

This faceplate, which we have affectionately dubbed "Squidplate," is a depiction of, um, a squid. It was created by the girlfriend of X3F reader, razzleson. Congratulations on scoring an artistic lady who likes games, razzleson! Notice that the memory card ports and USB ports have been filled in. Butch never uses 'em, so good riddance. We also received an Emily the Strange faceplace from Bertrand Le Roy, which you can view on his Flickr account.

And here we have some custom controllers from Boss Tempo. All in all we received a pretty healthy selection of custom modifications, but we'd love to see more. If you've got any 360 related mods you'd like to share, please let us know. We'll show off some more once we get some new entries.

Very cool. Sadly, I'm not talented enough to do that on my own.

I'll send you guys an image once I get my controller and get it done, but, essentially, I'm going to be taking my Guitar Hero II controller and giving it a sweet paint job to look something like this:

Wow on the first one. I liked his Red and Green eye themed as well as the large 360 tag one... I would pay money for those, US$15-20 maybe?
