Win an Elite in My Mom's a Gamer contest
Mother's Day is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate the day than with $100 for flowers and an Xbox 360 Elite. Xbox.com is hosting a My Mom's a Gamer contest where they want you to write in and tell them about your gaming mom. Does she frag with the best of them in Gears? Does she rack up points in Feeding Frenzy? Or does your mother support your obsession and purchase gaming gear for you? Your entries need to be submitted by May 6th when one winner will get an Xbox 360 Elite and a $100 gift certificate for flowers. Creativity and admiration is key to winning, so start writing to win that 360 for ... uh, we mean flowers. Flowers for your deserving mother.

Dang, my mom isnt a gamer so if i bought her a 360 for mothers day shed probably sell it back thinking i just got it for myself.

yeah, this might be the worst promotion ever.
It's hard enough to find girl gamers, but mother gamers? maybe on wii, but 360?
sounds like a bunch of nerdxcore gamers are going to try bribing their mothers to spend a little time gaming in the next few weeks.

Yes Grant but could you imagine the number of entries they would get about how their mom likes playing with their wii.... I mean Child services would go nuts.
Oooh and I came up with another bad wii joke today as well.... while commenting on the elite 360 I wished that my wii were black.... but I guess they would have to make it bigger.... bad I know but I cant resist a wii joke.

The funniest thing about this whole thing is just last month I saw this huge ad in a Wal-Mart flyer for X-BOX 360.
It showed a mother and her two young girls playing Viva Pinata together.
I was like..."That's NEW!!"

y'know... I was looking at the contest rules and description... and there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that says that Mom has to be a 360 or Xbox gamer, OR even a VIDEO gamer at that!

My Mom has been a gamer for as long as I can remember, her favourite being a collection of puzzle games that are probably as older than me.

Finding gamer moms is hard but its possible. My mom is one of the few and I finished my essay a while ago. They never said anything about sending in a pic of your mom gaming. Do you think it would be against any rules if I did? >.>
