Capcom's four new XBLA titles
Yesterday, Capcom announced four new games that will be coming the XBLA later this year. Street Fighter fans will be happy (and turbo excited) to know that both Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo and Super Street Fighter II Turbo will grace us with their downloadable presence and get an HD makeover. In both games the characters and backgrounds will be redrawn by artists from Udon Comics, who also did all the art for the Street Fighter comic books. Capcom also announced that both Rocketmen: Axis of Evil and Talisman will release to the Arcade later this year. So, anyone excited and loving the Street Fighter happiness coming to the XBLA?

Street Fighter HD definately. The new redrawn sprites they showed looked Awesome. About time I say.

Nice! I LOVE Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo. But Capcom's nomenclature always confused me. There never WAS a Puzzle Fighter, a Super Puzzle Fighter, or a Super Puzzle Fighter II, right? They just kinda STARTED with Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo? Because I would love to get the other games in the "series," as well.

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo is the only Puzzle Fighter there has ever been.
There was a game called Gem Fighter based on the SD characters from SPF2T that was excellent (used the X-Men/Marvel/Vs engine).
Both are EXCELLENT games. I am definitely looking forward to this stuff. I particularly want to see how Udon's stuff matches up against the reimagined SF2 characters that Falcoon did for SVC Chaos.

Oh boy. At first I was like "Man, another SF game with no changes after I blew 800 on the last one??"... but this is a pretty big deal. UDON's art for the SF comics has been great.
I hope Darkstalkers is next! :)

this is the sfII title that should have came out to begin with. hopefully they can figure out the controls but come on capcom we want sfa3 and sfIII someday soon.

Since Capcom is my fave alltime publisher, I appreciate all the 360 love with DMC4, Lost Planet, Dead Rising, and the XBLA titles but where's the backwards compat list update for Capcom titles and I don't mean Dino Crisis 3.
