Forza 2 demo releasing in a few hours

The wait has been longer than expected, much longer than expected, but the Forza 2 demo will be available in a few hours. Over on the official Forza 2 forums, community VIP chespace has confirmed that the Forza 2 demo will be available for download off the XBLM today at 2:00AM pacific (5:00AM eastern). And yes your math is correct, that's less than three hours from this posting. So racing fans, it's time to pull an all nighter. Grab your force feedback steering wheel, get real comfortable, and pop open a few cans of your favorite caffeinated soda. It's a countdown to Forza 2 guys ... get excited!

Ok downloading it right now, and I'm in the US. Instead of going to the Game Demos section, simply click Games, then Genres, Racing, and Forza Motorsport 2, then you'll see the demo.

Real Forza fans download the demo the second it comes on the marketplace, weather they have to just go at 2 or try and look for it for a half hour.. all's well that ends well.. it's downloading, and I'm off to sleep.

Yeah, ive been playing it for about 15 minutes, the damage is great. I would kill myself if I actually did something like this to a ferrari in real life :|

wow!i was driving the corvette ZO6 and i was in the lead when the ford gt rammed me in the ass and shattered my rear window. this is how a racing game should be done. racing isnt about blowing by everyone then leaving them way behind, its about competition and wow is the ai competetive in this game! the damage is right on.just wish they had let you try out online and some of the customization.

To bad there is only one track and the difficulty isn't changeable of course you can switch off the ABS TCS and stuff.... But you can't kill your car.
Well it playes sweet, it looks ok compared to other racers.
Can't wait for the full game...

I'm not that impressed...they actual driving dynamics of the game are awesome...but the graphics and crash damage to me aren't all that great...*shrugs*

remember those pc racing games where you find your self sliding of the track despite perfectly timed breaking, and then lose the race?
well forza 2 is just that
basically i'm utterly disappointed with this demo
everything seems so over sensitive
hopefully it'll clean up by the time the reatail version comes
for the time being pgr is still gonna be on top

I have to agree with "olithebumm". The physics don't seem to be all that they said they would be. I hope it's just a demo problem and not in the full game.

come on guys its a DEMO. its not the full game. demos arent suppose to be as good as the full game. i bet you a million dollars that the Halo 3 beta isnt near as good as what the final game will be. yet everyone is making such a big fuss ove rit bc its Halo. if anyone has ever driven as fast as these cars go you would know that when you come into a corner that tight and brake that quickly, you car is going to slide and get loose. the physics of this game are quit good actually. maybe some of you just dont understand how to race. see the thing is when you come into a corner you dont break as much as you let off of the gas and then throttle back up. this makes you loose less speed than braking into the corner does. in most cases you can pass your opponent this way too. like i said braking into corners that sharp does csuse your car to get loose and slide around. thats not what you want to do, unless you know how to drift the corners. im trying to come in first with all 24 cars myself. maybe it unlocks something, who knows. ive already beaten it with like 5 or 6 so far. anyone who thinks the graphics arent that good then you must have a shitty tv and not an hdtv. i think its a great demo and going to be an even better game. ive had mine reserved since back in october. cant wait til the 29th. then ill show some of you how to race. Nice game and all, but my Toyota Matrix IRL has better f***ing cornering than all these fancy cars. I bet you can't even win a race without buying the f***ing steering wheel! Grrr! It's just frustatingly difficult.
