Halo 2 Vista ships May 31 in US, Europe June 8
Having already been pushed back from its original release date of May 8 and subsequently not showing up on the new date of May 22, Halo 2 Vista is finally set to land on store shelves May 31. European Halo fans can grab their copies on June 8. Among the reasons readers have given us for purchasing the game (assuming most of you already have it on Xbox), our favorite is that it's the perfect game to play on your work PC during lunch. Indeed.
For those of you who need your Games for Windows Live fix as soon as possible, don't forget that Shadowrun is set to release on the 29th for both the Xbox 360 and PC.

I'm down for some Halo 2 on the PC. Halo 2 multiplayer greatness + achievements for my Live account = must buy for me.

Yeahh...I already have Halo 2 Vista. In fact I just got done playing it. There's like 30 people playing it.

Enough about this crappy 3 year old port to PC of a console FPS. Yeah, it is a port of one of the arguably best games ever that just happens to be a Xbox game but it is not on Xbox 360 and i bet that the majority of 360 fanboys (the real ones, not the "PS2 Widows") could care less about a port of a 3 year old game to Windows Vista.
Move on and keep focus on the 360 fanboy world, please.

Too late now. Had it dropped at the beginning of May, I would have bought it due to a lack of new releases on the 360 I was interested in.
Now, Microsoft is asking me to take time away from War Tech, Monster Madness, Forza 2, and Shadowrun.

any halo news is xbox/xbox 360 news without halo i really dont think the xbox would of made it as far as it has. For me the map editior is a major selling point and the achievements and extra maps aslo ill be buying the wireless reciever so i can pwn some keyboard users with my controler

I got it Monday. You can check my gamertag. I got it just for the heck of it to play on the PC with the controller. It gives me something fun to play when the wife is using the TV.

Wow. What happened here? I have seen about five copies of Halo 2 Vista on the shelves of my local Circuit City, and at Fry's Electronics, they have dozens of them for sale already.

u guys do know that it is ONLY gamestop and eb games that are gettin it on the 31st, and that everywhere else (toys r us, circuit city, best buy....) already got it on the 8th, which is the reason why im already playin it.
