The online gaming community, or more specifically, Xbox Live has its fair share of bad apples, and based solely on its success and user base, it can be quiet easy to find prime examples in
Halo 2 or even
Halo 3's
beta. Unfortunately, other types gaming don't have this, and when you start blurring the line between such forms of entertainment, there's bound to be a clash, right? Well, the guys at PA seem to
think so with the recent
announcement of
Halo Clix.
HBO community member turned Bungie employee KP seems pretty
convinced about their source material. Does this one tickle your funny bone?

I love Halo and I'm in college and I wear clothes from a clothing store!

That's what Halo is. And quite frankly I wouldn't have it any other way.

Let's face it, it has some truth to it. I don't buy into net-multiplayer games, but ever since I bought my 360 I've tried out XBL a few times.
I have NEVER met more rude people in my life. Aside from the name-calling, shit-talking, soor loser nonsense... A lot of people do hack. On the other side of the same coin, all too often people accuse others of hacking when they are just good.
My experiences with Gears of War, Saints Row, and Halo 3 were enjoyable... for about 5 minutes. Good maps, fun concepts, complete retards as players.
I still think that there should be an over 21 club for XBL. That'd solve all the problems. Kiddies can haxxorz eachother all they want, I can enjoy some good clean multiplayer fun.

Single player gaming is still my preference (haven't really played online in a couple months), but it happens everywhere.
My experience with R6: Vegas has been fairly positive, but there were a few times I had to mute half of the players in a match because I didn't care to hear them rap. WTF is with the rapping, anyway? I guess I should be thankful that I can mute players, or that I can take off the headset and pretend I'm shooting bots.
I'd also like to see an over 21 club on XBL.

"I still think that there should be an over 21 club for XBL. That'd solve all the problems. "
Bullpies.
In my life, some of the most annoying, and generally worthless people have been your run of the mill, beer guzzling, sports loving, college aged drug using trash talking pieces of crap.
You want to solve the problems? Stop thinking people actually mature with age! Truth is, most don't! Most people will remain the idiots they are will into their 30's. Only certain things can actually make these wastes of human flesh become less trash than they are, and that's usually being a dedicated parent, or being a dedicated spouse.

PA is funny sometimes, but mostly overrated trash.

Your irony was not lost on me, my friend. Hopefully it wasn't lost on you.

I appreciate your irony. Hopefully you do as well.
