Overlord demo rules Marketplace
After a bunch of demos hit Marketplace over the last three days (some more important than others), new ones still keep showing up. Today's offering so far is Overlord, which recently had a few videos pop up on the intertubes, and follows through on our plea. You may want to watch those before committing the 891.78 MB of space for the content, although some of you may already be convinced. So, are you enjoying this influx of interactive content, or do you not have the time to play these demos anyway?

Well I for one like the fact that there seems to be a minor plethora of demos hitting the market place, and with them looking to be decent ones this is nice.
...now if only 2K and Remedy would come forth and provide us with demos of Alan Wake, and Bioshock....

In an unrelated post, Shadowrun kicks ass. PLLLLLLLEEEEEEAAAAAAASSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEE give it a chance! At least play with Knuckles and the X3Fanboys.
It has a big learning curve but the reward is BIGGER! And everyone playing will help you out.
Shadowrun FTW.

Excellent demo, the camera is a little clunky but this gameplay makes up for it. I'm still shocked that this is shipping under the Codemasters label.

the consensus of most of the people I played the demo with last night was everyone was going to be going out and getting the full retail game today.

1. Overlord looks ABSOLUTELY AMAZING for Xbox 360 and PC!
2. Two Worlds is another game that looks ABSOLUTELY AMAZING on Xbox 360 and PC.
3. I agree that Shadowrun is another game that is AWESOME on Xbox 360 and PC.

i dont believe im saying this but...STOP WITH THE DEMOS!!!! :) the few demos that have come out in the past few days were all good. but i might have to go out and buy a elite 360 because im seriously running low on space. :(

I read about this game on OXM and was really intrigued. I will most definably be downloading the demo.

Ah Ha! You have uncovered Microsoft's nefarious plan. They are tempting us to download as many demos as we can and one day soon our hard drives will be full!!! Leaving us no choice but to buy and Xbox 360 elite. I see your plan Microsoft. I'm not going to fall for it.

Ha! I have an Elite. Oh demos... sweet sweet demos... just keep em coming!! Ha ha.

You know. Demo's are just that, demo's. you play them. see if you like them, and delete them.
And not all the demos released this week were good. Tenchu, was the worst Ive come across.
And as for Shadowrun, Im burnt out on FPS, and shadowrun just took it to a step that made me not want to play a FPS for a while. Seems every other title that comes out for 360 is a FPS of some sort.
And Im in the process of downloading Overlord. looks good, lets hope the gameplay holds up.

The videos they released were hilarious. Gotta love playing as the bad guy! Definate download.

This kind of looks like Dungeon Keeper. I'll check it out, but plz keep posting impressions since I'm stuck at work.
PLayed the Shadowrun demo- turns out it's awesome. Picking it up next week.

I downloaded this demo and thought it was a stupid game. I was excited for this game till I played it. Camera is ass game play is dull and tries to make up for it with poor atempts at humorous characters.

I have been watching this game since I first heard about, and having a demo slip into XBLM was great news. At first I was put off by the camera, but after spending more time with the demo, I can't wait till release day to pick up my copy. I glad that Triumph and Codemasters are putting out a game that is not the same old same old dressed up in different clothes. The Overlord and his minions concept is fantastic, and they have kept the sense of humour that makes this a game I plan on spending alot of time with this summer.
