Yet another tiny Duke Nukem Forever image

Duke Nukem Forever is starting to have a lot in common with modern myths. Like Sasquatch or the Loch Ness Monster, months pass with no news whatsoever, and then the topic is ablaze again with the release of a blurry photograph. The newest image comes from the latest issue of Game Informer, inside an article discussing 3D Realms' Earth No More. So, what can we discern from the new image? Not much. We can see lightning, what looks like a tree or tentacled creature, some walls, and that's about it. Of course, that won't stop hungry Duke Nukem fans from analyzing the image until their eyes bleed.
We'd like to join them, but like many

can't we all just ignore this joke of a game and move along?

is it a spider ?!?
Hey Apples @ Jun 20th 2007 6:19PM
Maybe the images are tiny because they're making the game for mobile phones only. ;)

This is from the official Duke Nukem Forever website (3drealms.com):
"'We're going to design almost every weapon in the game to where it's going to have a sort of collaborative mode to it,' says Miller. One gun called the Linker works like a reverse proton pack from Ghostbusters."
Could the image be a picture of the "Linker" in action?
Either way, stills are never really a tell-tale sign of graphic quality. Show us some videos or don't show us anything. Part of me thinks they do this every couple of months just to give their other games some more publicity.

Doesn't the ramp in the left corner (with the "arrows" on it) look like a ramp from Prey?

If you look very carefully in the bottom right corner you can see someone in 1995 playing Duke over his networked computer and he justs keep going back to the strippers and pressing Space Bar.

First off how about Duke nukem 3d on the live arcade.
Secondly, Is this new duke Nukem going 2 be using the new Serious Engine?
ccc @ Jun 21st 2007 12:02AM
hey, I hope in this new duke they still have the same voice for the character asking..." where is it?'

I would love to see Duke turn out to be an amazing game. It would just be so surprising!
