Fanswag: Fanboys Fight for The Darkness

The Darkness, as you may have heard, is fast drawing in upon us. In celebration of this glorious gloom, 2K Games decided to give us 5 copies of the game. The only problem is, they didn't bother to tell us which version. As such, we have decided to collaborate with the heathens over at PS3 Fanboy. We came up with a cordial little contest, and we need your help to settle it. How will you do that? With a good old-fashioned flamewar, of course! All you have to do is:

Finish this sentence: "The 360 version of The Darkness is better than the PS3 version because ... "
Submit your idea to our comments section.

Two winners will be chosen from Xbox 360 Fanboy. Here's the kicker: if Xbox 360 Fanboy receives more entries than PS3 Fanboy, we'll also give away a third copy to another lucky winner. As an added bonus, all winners will receive a prize package from 2K Games including both the game and a special The Darkness comic. We'll accept entries until June 26, 2007, so get cracking. Please note that this giveaway is limited to U.S. residents only, ages 18 and older (it's an M rated game after all). One entry per person.

The 360 version of The Darkness is better than the PS3 version because of Rumble feedback, nothings better than feeling the recoil of shoving a .45 into someone's mouth and pulling the trigger.

The 360 version of The Darkness is better than the PS3 version because, along with Ninja Gaiden, the only games that PS3 owners get are ones that 360 plays.

Oh, and achievements.

The 360 version of The Darkness is better than the PS3 version because with the 360 you will get to feel everything with rumble, you get some nice achievements, and 360 is just better.

The 360 version of The Darkness is better than the PS3 version because the 360 was made for first person shooters. The PS3 is made for crappy Gundam games and a whole lot of folding.

because
1. You get to feel the game (via rumble).
2. You get to compare how far you are with other people (via achievements).
3. You get to download content (via Xbox Live).
4. You get to play your friends over a tested system (via Xbox Live).

and finally

5. You get to post why the 360 version is better on the best 360 website (via Xbox360fanboy.com).

- Because when it releases they will have comparison videos and the 360 will look better... again

- Because FPS always play better on the 360

- Rumble baby... rumble

- The 360 was made for FPS

- You don't have to swing your arms like a crazy person trying to use the sixaxis

- Since the game is set in dark areas you will actaully be able to see (see past comparison videos)

- Its 360... why wouldnt it be better?

The 360 version will be better than the PS3 version because 360 multi platform games ALWAYS score higher than the PS3 versions,It has achievements,custom soundtracks,rumble,its the same game except 200 dollars cheaper,AND BECAUSE THATS LIFE BEING A PS3 OWNER ISN'T FAIR!!!!

...I dont't have to wander aimlessly through HOME, finish choking on the price of a Blu-ray player, suffer until integration of rumble feedback or pray for a price drop before I can enjoy it along with an entire library of other good games (which will soon include EXCLUSIVE GTA IV content)(I don't want to be too hard on the Sony fanboys because this is basically the only good game on that system in near future).

The 360 version of The Darkness is better than the PS3 version because it has...ah, I can't do this when we all know the PS3 is going to fail miserably. We should support the PS3 owners in their first, Good, non-port, 3rd-party game, since they won't know why they bought a PS3 when Metal Gear Solid 4 is announced for the Xbox 360 at E3.
