For unknown reasons, the
Rainbow Six Vegas Player's Pack Black Edition downloadable content that
released yesterday has been
pulled from the XBLM. Major Nelson updated his post stating that new content was pulled, but didn't give a reason for it not being available. Some people who have downloaded the content are stating that the new maps seem to load slower than others, but other than that they didn't find a problem with the Black Edition pack. Stay tuned as we'll be sure to let you know when the content gets placed back onto the Marketplace or when we learn more about what went wrong.

interesting....I did notice that the load times were a little slower, but not to the point where I would expect it to be pulled from the marketplace. Wonder if they will issue a patch?

Ok this makes sense. Me and my friend were looking for it last night and didn't see it.

It looks like someone put up this content before it was suppose to come out(that'a why we didn't hear anything about this release until it was already out)! If the reason was because of slow load times they would just put out a patch there wouldn't be no need to pull it from the marketplace.

Maybe there was a bug in one of the maps enabling hackers to gain control of Major Nelsons computer. Just sayin.. :)

Damn, Ubi! The best maps yet, and they bungle the uptake.
The load times are double that of all other maps in the game (red pack included) but so what? R6V is doggedly slow anyway.
Black pack, hands down, contains the best maps for the game.

Yeah this sucks. Several buddies and I played all the new maps for most of last night, there were several comments about the load times but hey, the maps were badass.

It's not that Ubi released to early. Announcement was made before Map Release. (1 hour before) I hear that they took it off due to Map Load Times, also they're adding Ranks & Achievements. I think they got smart and are putting everything in this pack.. and wont release a Blue pack

I thought it was because the same content is free on the PS3 and that microsoft promised never to charge for content that's free on another console which is what's happening here. If that is the case then I don't know what's happening to those who've already paid for it.

@Pedro Monscooch
Well if that's true they need to reimburse me my points.
Good thing I downloaded these right away. Haven't really played them yet just f'd around for a few before work but I liked the maps. New ranks would be sweet...but new weapons would be even better!

I believe that because 3 of these maps were from previous version of the series there just might be some legal issues taking place do to licensing and such. Now I don't know this for sure but I see no other reason to pull them from market place.I have them and they work fine other than the issues stated already. And as another comment hear said these are by far the best maps for the game. Hopefully it will all be figured out soon.Come on UBI "Ready UP" and get us play'n again !!!
