USK: Switchball rolling to Arcade
The Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle is losing self control (Uh oh; ding!) over revealing games existence prior to their official announcements, and the latest is Switchball, which Xbox-Archiv.de has found the rating for on the USK's site. The video above is the trailer for the PC version, and it seems reminiscent of Marble Blast Ultra, which isn't a bad thing, especially if it brings a new flavor to the table. According to an Xboxic reader (link below), and the PC version's demo has 12 Achievements listed in the menu, so that makes this all the more likely to be true.

Looking at this makes me feel like I'm playing a game of Metroid Prime stuck in ball mode...and without all the lasers and space-y stuff and all.

I like it. At least I can stop waiting for the Marble Blast Ultra DLC now.

This game used to be called "CrazyBall". It won the 2005 Swedish Game Awards and was the runner-up in the 2006 Independent Games Awards. It uses a special physics engine AGEIA.

I was interested in the game, then I found out it was on pc. Downloading now, lost sale for MS. Live arcade needs more exclusibes, not those pc games that sell for $19.99 that everyone just downloads free off emule.

Yeah, I reported this on Monday, but the listing has since been pulled from the USK website. Maybe it was supposed to be announced at E3? Maybe alongside Marathon?
