Less than an hour ago we were graced with our
first Bringing it Home XBLM content which offered up gamer pictures and a theme. And now we're happy to announce that we have our first Bringing it Home demo! Up for download off the Marketplace is a
NCAA Football 08 demo coming in at 684MBs of what we expect to be full of football fun. Though, this cannot be guaranteed. We welcome football fans to give the demo a download, tell us what you think and share your overall impressions as we aren't overly familiar with the genre. Heck, maybe you could count every frame in a second to see if the game runs at its promised
60 FPS.

ANt @ Jul 10th 2007 10:55AM
Further reason why the 360 is the best console ever!! Bring it on home, baby!!
Die Sony Die!! LOL
JBurton @ Jul 10th 2007 10:59AM

Work strikes again!
Roly @ Jul 10th 2007 11:06AM
Guy's I'm not exactly sure this is bringing it home, the games due for release in less than a week now.
Cool, nonetheless, thanks for the info.
:]

I've been playing for the last hour.
60 fps = completely different game! WOW. It's a night and day difference.
So smooth and seamless. Amazing. And actually fun to play!! Although playing on Varsity difficulty is way too easy. But
the gameplay is just awesome. Great new animations as well. Thank you EA!! I can't wait until July 17th.
I feel bad for those stuck with 30fps this year :p
ChargerRob @ Jul 10th 2007 11:36AM
Played the demo, looks great. I am just praying that they up 1-4 player co-op in so that me and my buddies can play on the same team in dynasty mode, like the last generation could.
Steve @ Jul 10th 2007 11:49AM
Played a couple of games so far. Game definately runs smoother and the animations are crisp. The crowd/stadiums look substantially better than last year's installment, though everything else looks pretty much the same. WHERE THE HECK IS MY MAN CORSO though?! Did they scratch Herbstreet/Corso for this game like they did in Madden? I always loved the NCAA commentary. Oh well. Also, the menus look like they are really well done and I'm pumped for the revamped campus legend mode and franchise. Definately a buy for me (though I'll prob buy APF 2k8 too)
Perno @ Jul 10th 2007 11:51AM
Brad, give more details, can you pick which teams you can be? Can you pick the stadiums? What did you have for lunch?
SGT Monty @ Jul 10th 2007 12:16PM
When you download the demo it says they left the commentary out to keep the size of the demo down. Herbstreet and Corso will be in the full retail version.
ANt @ Jul 10th 2007 12:30PM
2 team demo

Ells Yeah! It's the "Z"! That was such a great bowl game. Makes me proud to be a BSU graduate...and that's about it.
scinman @ Jul 10th 2007 12:41PM
You guys need a sports writer.
Pick me, pick me! I'm a sports game junkie.
Steve @ Jul 10th 2007 1:25PM
@SGT Monty:
Thanks for the clarification.
austin @ Jul 10th 2007 1:56PM
Cant wait to play as Heisman winning Ohio State QB Troy Smith and launch one 60 yards to Ted Ginn Jr, all after I broke 3 tackles and juked a Penn State middle linebacker.
Adam @ Jul 10th 2007 2:05PM
Plays pretty well. Feels a lot better than NCAA 07.
Austin, Troy Smith graduated, so no Troy Smith for you.
Adam @ Jul 10th 2007 2:06PM
Oh and I can't wait to see how the Gators play. And see how bad they can beat OSU again. :)
Brian @ Jul 10th 2007 2:20PM
Austin: Troy Smith is on the Ravens and Ted Ginn Jr is on the Dolphins...you're gonna wanna pick up Madden 08 to use those guys.
DAMN STILL AT WORK!
Demetrius Trisby @ Jul 10th 2007 3:30PM

Toby @ Jul 10th 2007 6:36PM
now i know why i stopped buying eaopoly games, sliding players, no grass wear, players are slippery 60 fps or not, no innovation, same game as 3 yrs ago....if it was the same game as 5 years ago, it would be good....dissapointing, like the last 3 maddens
Jay @ Jul 10th 2007 6:56PM
I know how they got it to run at 60 fps..... They made all the textures low res and took out anything of beauty in the game. Now it's just a dull football sim with crappy gameplay. After playing that demo I have been really turned off of NCAA 08.
Gapsky412 @ Jul 11th 2007 1:51AM
this game sucks dick.
Matt*linebacker 54 @ Jul 30th 2007 7:04AM
kay i just played the demo
and it is honestly the biggest peice of shit ever
tthere wearnt these great animations, no huge hits
and everything seemed to be running in slow motion
and the graphics were TERRABLE!!
i cant believ i was going to spent 70 bucke son this...
Stolid @ Aug 6th 2007 12:13AM
