Turok coming February 5th, revitalizes franchise

During Disney Interactive's Press Conference this afternoon General Manager of Propaganda Games, Josh Holmes cames on stage to show off Turok's facelift and how Propaganda has plans to reinvent the series. The video they showed included stealth kills by stabbing someone in the face, and using the bow and arrows. It's rather unfortunate the main character got eaten by a T-rex. They also anneaournced that Turok will be released on February 5th, 2008. Let us know if this this game coming in Q1 2008 piques your interest, you must.

Lets put it this way, if it came in this Nov it doesn't have a chance of being in my library. Now this becomes more interesting,and about the time I may need a small diversion from halo 3!

@1, no one understands David's over the top vocabulary.
But I don't know if this is the first time the release dates been stated but for me it's the first time. This game is for sure gonna be mine(considering I'll have money from Christmas to fill me back up since this fall/winter will destroy all my saved money)

This is a case where they have plenty of time to work on and release a demo BEFORE the game ships.
I have my eye on it, but my monies will follow the impressions I get from playing a demo of it.

Knuckles man..I tell ya.
Hearing any more about these sweet games is like seeing scantily clad women coming up to my bed after i've been with like, ten already that night..it's so sweet, but it's making my head swim. I'm glad it's not hitting until February..I don't know if I can handle more than the..what..FIFTEEN games on two consoles I want? (Not including 3 games on the DS too..MAN!)
Silent Hill 5's announcement put me in geek overdrive last night alone.

as long as it has split screen multiplayer with the bad ass guns from the n64 version then its going to be the best game EVER.

i dunno...i think that's too much going back and forth between first and third person perspective to be enjoyable. either one or the other would be fine but these quick "kill" sequences i'm sure i'll get tired of.
there's also so many other great shooters coming out and i think this is riding more on the Tobias Bruckner Award than the success of the first N64 title.
yes,the first one was the better version. Two was confusing as hell and 3 was sooo cheesy.

Like I said in the last Turok 3 post. In the video they show a few stab killings and right after it goes back in2 first person view and U see the knife in his hand with zero blood on it. This really turned me off from this game. The level of detail just isnt there.
