Call of Duty 4 achievements storm the net

Those crafty folk at Xbox360Achievements.org have been doing some digging. Having excavated a particularly large hole in a least one of the internets, they have unearthed precious booty. We are, of course, talking about the achievements for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. One particularly surprising element of these achievements: none of them appear to be multiplayer related. From what we can tell, every single achievement is based in the campaign. If we didn't already know about the multiplayer beta, we might be worried. So, what's our favorite out of these non-multiplayer achievements? We'd probably say "Daredevil" which is awarded for killing an enemy while blinded by a flashbang. Hit the "read" link to see them all.

None of them seem to be that hard to achieve which is what I like. Although " Down Boy Down-Survive a dog attack" how do we survive a dog attack? DO WE HAVE TO KILL PUPPIES? NOO!
Well they are terrorist puppies so maybe its okay.

'deep and hard'...hahahaha.

This is strange to not have multiplayer achievements, but maybe they just wanted people to ENJOY the multiplayer and not worry about getting 10 kills in a row, etc.

I like this. Some will be fun some a challenge but none of them "life consuming" kill 1000 people with a pistol/fist/shotgun... in the rain on the open field next to the twig dancing with a gnome... 5 pts....

You get a cookie Dj. Can't wait for this game! I wonder which game will be more fun, Halo3 or COD4...I'll be getting both.

I really hope this game is so good that it makes me put down Halo 3, just like RB6V made me put Gears away.

You don't need to be worried either way. Call of Duty 2 had single player only achievements too, and had great multiplayer. The only Call of Duty with multiplayer achievements is COD3, and as everyone knows, that was done by a different developer.
Personally, I like having achievements only in single player. It keeps people from trying to get achievements instead of just having fun in multiplayer games.

This game doesn't have a prayer against Halo 3, though no game does really. That being said, this game will be cool when I finally get to it in 2008 after playing halo 3 nonstop.

Halo ain't the greatest shooter ever, Erivera. I haven't played H2 since March.
These achievements seem to make sense. CoD2 had no multiplayer awards, which I thought was cool. Though fair enough, I never did finish either CoD2 or 3 in order to get the single player points (The multiplayer was way more fun, so I hardly touched single player).
Here's hoping CoD4 will be as awesome as CoD2 and CoD3. I loves me some duty callin'.
