We want a bloody 300 themed Elite!

A Bringing it Home Comic-Con press release just hit our inbox (viewable after the break) officially detailing all the Comic-Con XBLM goodness and talking about some special 300 themed Xbox 360 Elites. That's right, Microsoft and Warner Bros. have partnered to create 300 (total) Xbox 360 Elites themed with 300 style blood splatter. Yup, they're hot. But before you get too excited know that these Elites will only be given away during a special movie screening at Petco field during Comic-Con, which means we have no chance at winning one of these. Oh well ... they are still sort of pretty, so feel free to check out additional pictures of the 300 themed Elite as well as the official Comic-Con Bringing it Home press release after the break. Are you going to be in San Diego this weekend for Comic-Con? If not, fear not!

Xbox LIVE and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group are Bringing Comic-Con 2007 Home to all Xbox 360 owners. To enjoy the show, gamers can connect to the Xbox LIVE online entertainment network and bring everyone together in the living room to enjoy Comic-Con 2007, the preeminent comic, animation and gaming enthusiast event.

From July 26 to August 7, Xbox LIVE and Xbox.com/comiccon will feature full access to all of Warner's Comic-Con featured game trailers, show panels, movie and TV trailers and sneak peeks, celebrity interviews, show exclusives and customization themes for Xbox LIVE. Plus, action film and comic book fans will have access to an array of exclusive themes from 300 and DC Comics available for download.

Additionally, 300 fans who are attending Comic-con this year are in for two special treats. Warner Bros. will be hosting a special screening of the movie at Petco field for 6,000 conference attendees, all of whom will be entered to win one of ten custom limited edition 300-themed Xbox 360 Elite consoles.

Is this a sarcasm? Why would you want a blood spattered 360!? When did the Mario generation become so blood thirsty and violent???

A dark grey 360 with HDMI+65nm processors is what you should be dreaming about.

wow, this beats the daylights out of the silly looking halo 3 ones, AND it's an elite!

those are really good odds of walking away with one as well. 6000 people, 10 elites.

I've gotta say, while that console is really cool looking and all, it's not like you're gonna be able to see the artwork in your stereo cabinet. And God forbid you use it standing vertically!

Or maybe I'm just bitter for missing Comicon, and trying to ease my pain by grousing on the internet.
