Bomberman: New maps and costumes coming

While speaking with a Hudson representative on Xbox.com, regular X3F reader AnOffday confirmed that new costumes and maps are coming to Bomberman Live. This hardly comes as a surprise, as the promotional materials sent out by Hudson include several levels and costumes not currently in the game. You can actually see some of these levels in our Bomberman Live gallery (which we've thoughtfully attached to this post. Still, it's nice to get official confirmation. Now, if only we knew the release date and price, we could have our bomb and explode it too.

This is the best arcade game ive purchased yet. New maps would be great as i only choose random when hosting games.

DLC that was already in promotional material? So, why would it have been DLC and not included at launch?

You know, I was tempted to be angry at that as well, but if there was no such thing as downloadable content I doubt the developers would have even made the additional levels. So, true, they could have put them in, but they're a business.

Development has to stop at some point, so I don't know. There's probably as many somewhat acceptable reasons out there as crappy ones.

This is definitely the best Live Arcade game that's come out, period. I actually had never played any Bomberman before it (I don't know how that actually happened, but it did), so I didn't know if I'd like it or not. Shit's beyond addictive, though. Take that, UNO...and doubles to you, Fuzion Frenzy 2, you sad piece of crap that cost three times as much.
Oh and kudos to person on my friend's list AnOffDay for getting mentioned. Brown noser. ;)
