Halo 3 Dew "Game Fuel" available August 13th

Certain video game websites (see: not us) have been receiving samples of the Halo 3 branded Mountain Dew called Game Fuel (which we've known about for a while now) and confirming that the drink will be available for only ten weeks starting August 13th. The IGN guys were lucky enough to receive their two can sample and after giving the Halo 3 Dew a few good gargles they think the orange colored, cherry-citrus flavored soda taste like cough syrup and Dew ... but that's them. We know we'll love it, because A) we're fanboys and B) because we're fanboys that will drink any Master Chief branded soda, even if there's a chance that it'll make us break out in hives or cause our ears to fall off.

I found this at a local store the other day and purchased one just to try it out. I have to say it was the thickest drink I've ever had. Very sweet and very syrupy. Didn't care for it. I purchased it in a 20oz bottle for $1.19. Which is regular price. It did have Halo 3 on the bottle, but past that I wouldn't drink it again.

Seems like every Mountain Dew product that isn't Mountain Dew isn't good. Baja Blast, Live Wire, Midnight, Red Alert, and now Gamer Fuel.

Are you kidding? Code red is my favorite flavor! Baja blast is delicious too. Live Wire was ok, and the original flavor is amazing.

I love Mountain Dew, and I bet I will love this new Game Fuel stuff.

I personally liked all the moutain dews but the only one i thought tased like drap was Piched Black #2, that sour crap.

Otherwise Origional, Code Red, Livewire, MDX, AMP, Piched Black, were all pretty good in my opinion and hopefully Game Fuel will be better then the shitty Piched Black #2.

I haven't had the Halo one yet, but Code Red rocks, just as good as the original! Live Wire is pretty good (not as good as the original though). That Pitch Black SUCKED. Had it once, and wanted my taste buds back. Blech!

Not that they care, but Diet Game Fuel would have a good chance of selling well too. I go through as much as 60 ounces of Diet Dew per workday.

Coolness shouldn't be linked to sugar content...

Did anyone else see the Mountain Dew commercial during last nights X Games and the one with the BMXer. Because he was Mountain Dew themed green i could of sworn that was The MC BMXing.

Code Red is awesome. Live Wire isn't bad. The first Pitch Black was great. As for caffeine, Original AMP and AMP Overdrive are both delicious!

But you know what I really miss? Pepsi Blue. That stuff was really good and then they just... stopped making it.

We've had this for sale in our store since Monday. They are selling it for $0.25 per 20oz bottle so I thought I would try it out even though I don't care for Mountain Dew. I actually thought it was pretty good. It has a nice fruity flavor and I didn't think it was thick at all.

After work today I bought 9 bottles for $2.86. LOL

I got a free can when I went to Video Games Live in Louisville, Kentucky. I like it a lot better than the other flavors of Mountain Dew. I can barely stand the taste of the original. It somewhat reminds me of a mixture of Cherry and FuFu Berry Jones sodas.

Just so you guys know, you should think carefully about saving the cans full. I did this a few years back during the Star Wars Episode 1/Pepsi promotion. Needless to say I now have a closet floor soaked with Pepsi and a whole lot of exploded cans. Those expirations are their for a reason.
