The iPhone gets 360'ized

If you're ~~lucky~~ rich enough to have purchased one of those touch friendly iPhones as of late and have been wanting to express your inner Xbox 360 fanboy on your phone, then we've got the solution for you. DecalGirl is offering up a Xbox 360 decal skin for iPhones featuring the green rings we've come to know and love. The three piece skin also comes with a code to download the background seen in the picture (you know, so you get that full Xbox 360 aesthetic feel) and will cost you about $7. But that kind of change is a drop in the bucket to iPhone owners who aren't afraid to shell out $500 for a cell phone.

Looks nice, in mock up form. Don't know if i'd be willing to ditch the natural tone of my $500 iPhone with a $7 skin. Depend on how easy it would be to remove. Results could be tragic.

IF I ever get an iPhone, I'd get the screen art like that, but I won't be replacing the back shell or buying a sticker for it.

IF I ever got an iPhone, that is. Right now it's just a fun toy, and I've played with one; I can't see using it daily for normal calls.

I believe there are versions for $499 and $599... but then obviously you also need some sort of plan to use most of its features.

I'd be afraid of my iPhone red-ringing if I did that. I kid, I kid.

There's something odd about making a device look like (or be an homage to) another device that's cheaper. Personally if I had a $500 iPhone there's no way I'd be putting a decal on it - to me it cheapens the look.

im not a big fan of skins everytime i put one on something and i dont like it anymore it i always have trouble taking them out.

They are so bloody expensive. Almost the cost of one Xbox 360 and couple of games/accessories. So whens the price cut?

Well...Since Knuckles, like me, lives in Canada, we have to wait till (as far as speculation goes) Christmas time before the iPhone'll be available in Canada. So yea...we're kinda FORCED to wait. lol
