Video: Mass Effect character customization

1UP and GameVideos posted an exclusive Mass Effect video where they get a chance to show off and discuss the game's character customization as well as talk about other features the game offers. First off, the character customization looks amazing. It's so detailed, natural and, from the looks of things, highly customizable. You'll have to watch the video to get a sense for what we're talking about. In the video the editors also chat about other Mass Effect topics like the command system, dialog interaction, the hopping vehicle and show in-game clips from the game while discussing each topic. It's definitely a great watch and even though it's nearly fifteen minutes long, we're sure you'll be interested enough to watch the full video without needing to skip ahead.

Cool. I always just assumed you looked like the main guy they show in every video. This is even better.
You know, I've always wondered why RPGs like Oblivion don't use this stuff for NPCs... like just generate random variables for every single one so you don't see ones that look exactly the same over and over.

Man this game looks awesome, I love the fact that each play through can have huge chunks of the game missing depending on what decisions you make.

This game is so packed full of content, with the quests, the large galaxy, the voice acting, the graphics. I'm amazed it all fits on a single disc.

Not only does the game look great... but that video was the best interpretive video I've ever seen, for any game.

This is the ugliest game I've seen a new-gen console yet. did they port this over from the N64 or something? PS3 has so much untapped potential and will destroy the 360. just ask Zeus the God. he's a smart guy and knows what's up
