BioShock demo available for download NOW!

The highly anticipated sixty second BioShock launch trailer just debuted on Spike TV and if you missed it we're wondering, why? It's not like we didn't give you a heads up or anything, jeez guys, stay on the ball next time. Anyhoo, for those who did get a chance to see it we think we can all agree that the best way to summarize the new BioShock trailer is by using adjectives such as "awesome", "amazing" and "super-duper". It's truly that good. For those who haven't seen it yet, we've embedded it above for your convenience. Just promise us you'll be a little more punctual next time, okay?
But we're sure everyone is a tad bit more excited to hear the uber-hyped surprise announcement, which we must say is a doosy. Right after the trailer concluded on Spike TV, Geoff Keighley popped up to announce that a 1.35GB BioShock demo is available right now (yes, this very second) on the XBLM! Hurry fanboys, your first chance to experience BioShock awaits you on the Marketplace!

Trailer was fun and looked nice, but wasn't gameplay.. meh. I'll get to play the demo in a bit after it downloads, anyway! :) Still not sold on this game; by the end of the night I will make my decision I'd assume.

demo is 1.32 GB I believe. Downloading now..just began at ten-ish so I'll have the demo by..4am..haha.... (slow connection apparently)

Well, I can't download it yet as I made a certain divine figure a promise that I'd go to church and give thanks if the demo indeed landed tonight.

Excellent video, now all I have to do is wait for my stupid internet connection to be connected so I can finally download the demo.
Btw the song is "Beyond the Sea" originally by Bobby Darin (although don't know who sings the ad version)

Ok, Maybe I didn't notice it earlier, but it looks like the Beautiful Katamari demo is up too, which is cool.
I slogged through the slowness of Live and I am fighting for every percent of the demo...right now, it is at 7 (reminds me of the halo 3 beta download)

everything is running again took them 7 minutes to fix. It always happens when i really big demo is released and it clocks in at over a gig i couldnt even imagine what PSN would be like if they released somthing like this

It's not Bobby Darin or Sinatra it's Robbie Williams. He did a CD a few years back with swing music. It's also on the Finding Nemo soundtrack...my daughter loves that song.
